I think, if anything, spell haste should mainly be looked into as a medium to improve crowd control first and damage secondary. I put together what I think is a pretty solid damage/haste mix that I think will be viable in S4 and that I'm going to test, stats are HP: 10,473; MP: 9697; DMG: 1015; Crit: 21% w/o MA; Res: 429; Pen: 74 w/o arcane subtlety; and Haste: 179. Gems: CSD meta, 2 Forceful Seasprays, and the rest Reckless Pyrestones. Haste gear: Vindicator's Pendant of Subjugation, Cloak of Arcane Alacrity, Battlemaster's Alacrity, Wand of the Demonsoul, and Loop of Forged Power. Forgive me, it's early so I may be leaving some shit out but whatever.
